Notice For participants of Walking Challenge 2023

Thank you for participating in Walking Challenge 2023.

As shown on the Walking Challenge homepage, the University of Tokyo was ranked 15th out of all the groups. The total number of steps taken by all participants from the University of Tokyo was 80,719,953!!

A lucky prize has been selected through a  lottery from individuals and groups who have taken over 8,000 steps per day, and we have sent the winners an e-mail titled as "Walking Challenge2023 当選のお知らせ You've won the prize!''  from 12:00 to 1:00 pm today to the registered email address. Please check the email content for details on how to receive the prize. Don't forget to register the campus of picking up the prize by December 10th. If anybody declines, there will be an additional election.

As for the participation award, the number of steps taken by the 200th place participant was an average of 7,695 steps per day, and a total of 230,862 steps. Those who rank 200 or above will receive a certificate of participation with a bone density measurment and body composition measurement ticket around December 15th.

Those who take an average of 143 steps or more per day, or 4,282 steps or more in total, will receive a certificate of participation with a bone density measurement ticket around December 15th. For those with less than that, a certificate of participation will be sent to you around December 15th.

Measurements will be conducted from January to March 2024. Reservation may be needed depends on the campus you want to visit. Please wait for the mail for details. This ticket is valid only for the University of Tokyo students and faculty, those with a common ID.
