Catch-up HPV vaccinations will end in March 2026.

Those who began your HPV vaccination under public funding by the end of March 2025 are eligible to complete all three doses free of charge until March 2026. If you have not completed the series yet, please consider scheduling your remaining doses .

Crowding is expected from February onward. If you have only received one dose, it is time to consider getting your second dose soon to ensure all three doses can be completed within the eligible period. Please plan ahead for your full HPV vaccination.
Vaccinations are generally available only in the municipality where your residence is registered. If you have moved, your vouchers must be renewed by consulting your new local government office for issing new vaccination vouchers.

Residents of  the 23 wards in Tokyo can receive the vaccine at the Hongo and Komaba Health Service Centers.

Recommended intervals for Silgard 9 (for ages 15 and older) and Gardasil:
 The 2nd dose: At least one month after the 1st dose (standard: two months).
 The 3rd dose:At least three months after the 2nd dose (standard: four months).

Those who are not eligible for catch-up HPV vaccinations, including men who wish to be vaccinated, can receive the vaccine at UT Health Service Centers for a fee.
