Medical Comments

I Normal: No medical action necessary.
II Health consultation by nurse recommended: Talk to the nurses about your medical conditions.
III Further examination / Treatment necessary : Visit a doctor with your checkup result.
IV Under management of other medical facilities: Show the result to your regular doctor and follow the advice. Follow the instruction.
V Checkup by other medical facilities: You provided health a medical examination report from an outside medical institution. Please follow the instructions of the medical institution where you received the examination.

Details

◆ "メタボ判定" = Metabolic Syndrome

The condition of having visceral obesity, along with two or more of the following: high blood sugar, high blood pressure, or lipid abnormalities, is referred to as Metabolic Syndrome (also known as Insulin resistance Syndrome).

  • "基準該当" = Meets Criteria:  You meet the criteria for Metabolic Syndrome.
  • "予備軍該当" = Pre-Metabolic Syndrome:  You are in the pre-metabolic syndrome group.
  • "非該当" = Does Not Meet Criteria:  You do not have Metabolic Syndrome.
  • "判定不能" = Unable to Determine:  Due to insufficient test items, it is not possible to determine if you have Metabolic Syndrome.

◆ "特定保健指導レベル" = Specific Health Guidance (Eligible persons are between 40 and 75 years old)

     *If you are a member of "the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Mutual Aid Association", check the guide for health guidance.

  • "積極的支援" = Active Support:  This is health guidance for those who have overlapping risks of Metabolic Syndrome. Health guidance will be actively provided for a period of 3 to 6 months.
  • "動機づけ支援" = Motivational Support: This is health guidance for those who are beginning to show risks of Metabolic Syndrome.
  • "なし" = None:  You are not a target for specific health guidance.
  • "判定不能" = Unable to Determine:  Due to insufficient test items, it is not possible to determine.

Occupational Physician's Comment

 

The official opinion of the occupational physician at the University of Tokyo concerning the assessment of fitness for work are given based on the results of your health check-up.

Those that have the comment “就業措置等を検討する必要がありますので、産業医にご連絡ください”, the occupational physicians have to judge your assessments of fitness for work and inform you and your workplace of their official opinion from a health viewpoint based on the Industrial Safety and Health Act.

Therefore, you have to contact to occupational physicians in each campus.

Please provide the additional information of your health status to assist in their judgement to occupational physicians using the form available through the UT Health Service Center website (Link).

Please reply to the letter 「就業判定保留者面談のご案内 (Notice: consultation of fitness for work)」 from Labour Safety and Health management office.

Please contact the occupational physicians through the contact in the Institute of Medical Science (Shirokanedai Campus) given below in [Contact information].

Please be aware that, if you do not contact the occupational physicians within one month of your results become available online, we will give your manager or human resources the notification of the official opinion of assessment of fitness for work based only on the result of your health check-up.
