Influenza Vaccination

Influenza vaccines are delivered in several batches. The schedule and reservation slots will be increased from time to time depending on the storage status of influenza vaccines. Please check our website regularly.
Vaccine availability is concentrated at the start of the reservation period, but the vaccine may be restocked after that period.
In that case, the reservation slots will be increased depending on the stock availability.
It is not always easy to make a reservation during the opening period. Please do not panic, and check the information on our website. We can prepare a limited number of flu vaccines, so if you find a clinic that can give you a  vaccine, get one wherever available. We recommend that you get a flu vaccine every season at any place.


Students, faculty and administrative staff of the University (those who possess Student or Staff ID cards issued by the University of Tokyo).

Additional dates for inoculation will be added as soon as delivery of the vaccine is confirmed.
The venue will may change to prevent spread of infection. Please check our website for details.

The influenza vaccination is conducted by reservation.

What to bring on the day of the vaccination

*You need to bring 1) - 4) as noted above, otherwise you will not be able to receive the vaccination.

1)  Completed influenza vaccination form

Download the form from here. Print it double-sided and fill in the necessary information and bring it with you on the day of the vaccination.

・Take your temperature and fill in the information on the form.
・Signature of parents or guardians will be required for legal minors (anyone under the age of 18).
・Please fill out influenza vaccination form with black ink that cannot be erased. Do not use pencils.

2)  Staff or Student ID card issued by the University of Tokyo.

3)  Vaccination fee

JPY 2,500 for students / JPY 3,000 for staff
(*Cash only. Please make sure to have the exact amount ready when paying.)

4)  Printed reservation information from the website or the email sent automatically on completing the booking.

A print out of the screen, memo or photo image of the screen are acceptable.

Other important information

・It is possible to be inoculated for both the COVID-19 vaccination and influenza vaccination at the same time.
※ However, at this venue, only the influenza vaccination is available.
※ If you develop a fever as a side reaction to the COVID-19 vaccination, you will not be able to receive the influenza vaccination.Based on your own adverse reaction situation so far, it is recommended that you leave several days between receiving the COVID-19 vaccination and the influenza vaccination.
・The influenza vaccines may not be available as expected. In this case, we will inform you through the website, etc.We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you. Thank you for your understanding.
・You will receive an interview from a physician on the day of the vaccination.Please note that depending on their diagnosis, you may not be given a vaccination.
・Please carefully read the “Key Facts About Seasonal Flu Vaccine” manual before your visit.
・People who experience heavy secondary reactions after vaccinations cannot be inoculated at the health center.
・Please make sure to come on time.
・Please be sure to check the venue on our website before inoculation.
・Please cooperate in wearing a mask, preferably made of non-woven fabric.


・Please select the location you wish to attend and your status (student/faculty and staff) on the reservation site and make a reservation. Bookings made by staff on a students’ schedule will be voided (and vice versa.) Please be careful not to make a mistake.
・Authentication with your UTokyo account is required to access the reservation site.
・Common ID is required when making a reservation.  (*Common ID is an 18-digit number printed on the bottom right of your student or staff ID card. ⇒    Click here for explanation about the Common ID.)
・We do not accept reservations by phone.
・If faculty or staff members make a reservation from the student reservation site, it will be invalid. (The reverse also applies.)
・You can confirm, amend or cancel your reservation from the reservation completion email.
